H istoric Old Town is the heart of Basalt and continues to keep it’s small town feel, complete with local boutiques, art galleries and great restaurants. Basalt is well known as a fly-fishing town and the Gold Medal waters of both the Roaring Fork River and Frying Pan River collide in the center of town.

Just a few miles up the road is Reudi Reservoir where you’ll find boating, fishing and camping. Reudi Reservoir is the valley’s favorite summer day escape and attracts many visitors and locals alike. Basalt is centrally located with Aspen being just 15 minutes away.
